The classic local rhythm unfolds from dawn to late night: breakfast at Du Yi Chu, Peking duck at Quan Ju De, tea at Wu Yu Tai, hotpot at Dong Lai Shun, and late-night wontons at Hun Tun Hou—all while dressed in the spirit of old Beijing with Rui Fu Xiang silk robes, Nei Lian Sheng cloth shoes, and Ma Ju Yuan hats.

Led by Professor Liu Chun, a group of international students stepped into living history on April 21, 2026, along Qianmen's Dashilan Street. "It's like walking through a living museum," one student said, as they experienced the city's rich commercial and culinary heritage firsthand.
